Academic Excellence and Learning Support

Academic Excellence Program

The Academic Excellence Program at St Norbert College provides talented students from all year levels the opportunity to maximise their true potential through activities conducted in-class and as co-curricular activites.

Identified students are empowered to collaborate with like-minded students in a positive environment to apply 21st century learning skills that enhance their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Learning Support Team

The Learning Support Team works together in a number of different ways to achieve better educational outcomes for students with specific learning needs. This includes supporting class teachers to develop and implement appropriate learning strategies and modifications to the curriculum.

Parents are able to call on the assistance of the Learning Support Team. Liaison with parents occurs especially at significant moments of transition such as when moving from school to school and from school to work.
